Enrique Iglesias is very definitely a child of the 1980s, and his arena-rock aspirations are prominently displayed on 7.
The Latin superstar's third English-language album is filled with fist-pumping choruses, crisp guitar riffs, and
rock-tinged pop ditties destined to send fans into serious states of swooning. Aching love ballads occupied much of
Iglesias' time on previous efforts, but those are kept to a minimum here. Even the first single, "Addicted," swells with
a chorus that seems designed for maximum sing-along potential. Songs such as "The Way You Touch Me," "Break Me Shake
Me," "Free," and "You Rock Me" shimmy and sparkle, anchored by Iglesias' ever-improving, always sexy vocal delivery. It
makes for a vibrant mix of music, and it will be nearly impossible to resist singing along with more than a few of these
