DESCRIPTION



The Singing Bee is an Australian game show combining karaoke singing with a
spelling bee-style competition. Contestants have to sing lyrics to songs without making an error or risk being
eliminated immediately.



The show is based on the original American version of the same name and follows the same basic rules as the original,
although there have been some slight rule changes and the selection of music has been chosen to reflect the Australian
market.



This first season of the show was hosted by former 'N Sync member Joey Fatone, who also hosts the US version and
travelled to Melbourne in September 2007 to record the season.
