The video is 320x240 restored video and audio from an original ex-rental VHS tape from a video rental store chain in
Australia. It is 4:3 original old ratio full screen with stereo sound. There are 3 scenes that lasts a few seconds where
there are a few lines that go down the screen from previous renters who did not 'rewind the tape after use'!! That
permanently damages the tape - I can do nothing to fix this.....unfortunately. Luckily it only happens for 3 short
moments in the film, the third is at the old predictable VHS moment - as the
end credits start rolling (people would just stop the tape, eject it without rewinding it, put it back in its case and
take it back the the video store - un-rewound!) These glitches are the result. :( It is like putting a big scratch into
a DVD that causes bad glitches - irritating as HELL. But at least those scratches can be removed - unlike these VHS tape
issues.



This episode is unavailable on any DVD or VHS box set any where in the world. The movie is titled 'Becoming'. It is
literally edited in such a way it is a movie combining Becoming & Innocence. VHS and DVD box sets plus TV aired versions
are not as good as this Single VHS tape that was a rental from a video chain in Australia where only 2000 of these tapes
were made, I would say perhaps a few hundred of these tapes are left out of all of those old rental tapes. They either
sold the tapes, threw them in the bin, gave them away to charity to upgrade to the DVDs (I have seen and also bought
some of those, but most of mine were bought new - before tv shows were released in Box Sets on VHS - DVD did not exist
at that time) They upgrade only to notice the difference when they get to these episodes, as I noticed - But, I still
have all of my tapes, individual BtVS/AtS, VHS box sets and DVD box sets. I have best of all BtVS/AtS, those tapes that
most people have either no idea how rare their tapes are for they have them packed into a box, they have not even
thought of restoring the video and audio then uploading onto the Internet to keep this ultimate version of Becoming/Innocence alive or they just don't care and like the fact that they have
something that nearly no one else has or even knows exists... I hate those sorts of people the MOST!I I knew some people
like that and made a vow to NEVER be like that!!! The remainder either were stolen from the video rental stores or they
were destroyed from users letting the tapes getting chewed up in their VCRs.I can not find any of them anywhere online
or any information about them any more... A few years ago some people knew about them still and were searching for the
VHS tape I own. :( I have the tape, I just restored the VHS video to between
VHS-DVD quality after the video was restored. :)



This movie episode has no music building up to the 3 second black scene on the video that tv networks use to insert ad
breaks. It does have music in those scenes of-course! But it is not building up to the blackened climax of an ad break -
it moves through that non-blackened ad break scene smoothly just like a Hollywood film does. Those scenes run flawlessly
and smoothly one into the next throughout the 90 minute double episode. Whistler does the narration (as it was and
should have been) yet on the DVDs it has Angel doing the same narration (that sucks! - get it? Sucks!?) ;) Sorry, bad joke... Anyway, Once you have seen this video and then watched your VHS or DVD box
set versions you WILL see what I mean about how much better this version is!
